  • 1.6 Acre Site
  • New Hotel Construction
  • Coordination with Future South Barrett Reliever Road Project
  • Underground Structured Parking Facility

Ingenium Enterprises was the Civil Engineer for the design of this four story hotel on a 1.6-acre triangular lot located in Kennesaw, Georgia. This challenging site contained many obstacles, among which were the small size and irregular shape of the parcel, the large amount of relief on the site, the limited area for surface parking, and the future South Barrett Reliever road project. Ingenium was instrumental and led the negations with Cobb County DOT to limit the impact of the future road project on the site. Specifically, Ingenium was able to prohibit the DOT from taking any of the valuable hotel property for the future road. The scope of services included the initial feasibility study, a zoning modification, the preparation of a comprehensive set of civil site plans, a hydrology and water quality study, hydraulic calculations, retaining wall design, and permitting through the County and the Federal Aviation Administration, as the site is situated in the flight path of nearby McCollum Field.
