CAD TECHNICIAN - (Tampa and Atlanta Locations)

Ingenium is seeking full time CAD Technicians interested in developing the skills and attributes to advance to a Senior Designer and beyond. We have potential opportunities available in both our Tampa and Atlanta-based offices. Candidates will perform a variety of CAD drafting design support for Project Managers for Civil Engineering projects of varying size and complexity. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience interacting with standard methods for preparing engineering documents, details, schedules or reports as assigned, and will be required to complete detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specifications and written and verbal instructions using computer aided drafting programs.

PROJECT ENGINEER - (Tampa and Atlanta Locations)

Ingenium Enterprises is currently seeking to fill Project Engineer positions in our Tampa and Atlanta-based offices to provide engineering support for the design development and plans production on civil engineering projects of varying size and complexity. The successful candidate(s) will be challenged to provide innovative solutions to project issues using current design standards and guidelines and will assist Project Managers in maintaining client communications and documenting the design process and design decisions.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of engineering documents and construction plans meeting client expectations, industry standards, and jurisdiction requirements
• Skill and willingness to become proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D and other design software utilized within the department
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, design standards, guidelines, and client scope
• Proficiency with CAD design software required by the client
• Ability to review designs and develop mark-ups for supporting CAD staff
• Willingness to provide assistance to Project Managers as required

Required Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will possess a Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university, and 1-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Design. EIT certification is preferred.

Ingenium Enterprises is currently seeking an entry-level Feasibility Coordinator/CAD Technician for our Atlanta-based office.  The successful candidate will be familiar with AutoCAD design software and have some experience in producing schematic site plans including utility and grading.  This position requires code research and coordination with jurisdictional contacts regarding typical feasibility items required for the proper investigation of a site.  The candidate will be required to work as part of a team of technicians and engineers and assist in the design development and plans production for varying site development projects.

This position includes the following initial responsibilities:

  • Coordination with jurisdictions and clients regarding typical feasibility items required for the proper investigation of a site including, but not limited to: Site Investigation Reports, Schematic Site Plans, Schematic Utility Plans, Schematic Grading Plans, Schematic Earthwork Estimates, Summary of Quantities, and Code Research. Minimal Travel may be necessary.
  • Coordination with Project Managers regarding their needs for any feasibility items.
  • Anticipating potential feasibility related issues and facilitating their resolution.
  • Review of feasibility deliverables and reports for adherence to client expectations and standards.

Required Education and Experience:

The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma or Technical School Training with courses in computer-aided drafting, and 1-4 years of relevant experience.
